Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems
Hybrid renewable energy systems are simply a combination of renewable energy systems like solar, wind, and micro hydro electrical systems. More and more renewable energy owners are seeing the benefit of employing two distinct systems working side by side with one another as a means to compliment each other as a back up system to the other. For example, when it is night time, the wind turbine can regenerate the battery bank or continue to produce power to be sold back onto the grid when the solar system is inactive. Similarly, the solar system can work on either the batteries or making power for your property when the wind takes a break. Back up systems are necessary for all off grid systems, and are extremely valuable to those properties that have access to both resources.
